Daniel L. Goldberg
Since co-founding Bridge in 1998, Daniel Goldberg has had a principal role in acquisitions, portfolio management, investor relations, realization strategy and diversification strategy. Under Mr. Goldberg's leadership, the Bridge portfolio has increased exponentially in asset value and type.
Mr. Goldberg's transactional experience includes leveraged buyouts, growth equity capitalizations, debt recapitalizations, asset consolidations and real estate, hotel and corporate acquisitions and financings. He serves as a board member and/or advisor to various Bridge portfolio entities.
A graduate of the University of Michigan, Mr. Goldberg, his wife and four children reside in Highland Park, Illinois.
Robert J. Goldberg
In 1976 Mr. Goldberg co-founded Goldberg Kohn, one of Chicago's premier mid-sized law firms. During his more than 30 years practicing law, Mr. Goldberg specialized in private equity placements and complex commercial transactions, active also as an author and speaker on various topics related to his practice. Since co-founding Bridge in 1998, Mr, Goldberg has been active in business planning and development, portfolio strategy, due diligence, and investor relations, bringing to Bridge his seasoned transactional skills.
He holds a B.A. cum laude from Cornell University and a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.
Steven B. Jarmel
Mr. Jarmel has ten years of operational and acquisition experience with business services companies, working in investment banking and corporate development and serving as an investor and Board member within the industry. As an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (later Credit Suisse First Boston), he worked extensively with Information Resources, Inc. (IRI), a Chicago-based market research company, and then joined IRI in an operational role. Before joining Bridge, Mr. Jarmel was at Lake Capital, a private equity firm focused on business and marketing services firms where he focused on business services companies.
Mr Jarmel is a board member of various Bridge Investments portfolio companies including FreightWatch and PV Media Group.
He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BSM from Tulane University.
Roger L. Schoenfeld
After graduating from Indiana University, summa cum laude, with a B.S. in Accounting Mr. Schoenfeld earned his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center, and then practiced law at the Goldberg Kohn firm. He has been an investment banker specializing in mergers and acquisitions and the chief operating officer of manufacturing businesses.
James M. Florsheim
An advisor and consultant to the firm, Mr. Florsheim brings considerable experience to Bridge's business planning and equity placement efforts. He formerly served as Senior Vice-President and Director of Chicago Corporation and as a Senior Vice-President of ABN AMRO. Mr. Florsheim holds a B.A. from Cornell University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
